Cowboy dressage is an equestrian sport that, according to the Royal Spanish Horse Riding Federation (RFHE), consists of «performing in succession and within a square, a series of exercises taken from those that are executed in the field to work with cattle bovine».

Our walk today runs along the banks of the Guadalquivir and the Jándula will submerge us, on occasions, in a wonderful gallery forest. The poplars, tamarisks, willows, oleanders and ash trees that populate these banks not only serve as a refuge for animals, including many waterfowl, this trail has also been a historic passage for transhumant cattle between the Sierra Morena and the valley. After crossing the Roman bridge we will go down the right bank until we reach Andújar.

This route is the one used by people and horses for the pilgrimage of the Virgen de la Cabeza that once a year gathers more than 3000 horses and riders.
